What is the difference between group tours and private tours?

Private tours are for your exclusive use; no matter you are individually, or in a family or friends group. The tour is run exclusively for you without strangers. The private tours are more flexible and could be customized to meet your specific interests/wishes.
The group tours guarantee you to see the most popular attractions at a comparatively low price. The group size is usually small, so you share a clean, safe and air-conditioned vehicle with others, which let you to meet and make friends from all over the world.

What does it means „Min group size“?

The group tours run if there are minimum of three or four participants. If the minimum number is not met, an alternative day, private tour (for extra fee) or a full refund will be offered. Minimum group size is not applicable for the private tours.

Can I book the tour if I am a solo traveller?

Yes, but we highly recommend you to send an inquiry form with your availabilities before. The tours run if the min group size is met.

How can I customize my private tour?

If you would like to make the minor changes (for ex. change the pick up time), please fill all the information at the additional notes (on the contact details page) and if you would like to add aditional services (for. ex. Bread baking class on the Anyksciai area tour), please send the “Inquiry form” with your special requirements before you book the tour.

How can I book a tour, transfer or travel package?

You can book it online, at our office (Pylimo st. 50, Vilnius) or directly to our guide.

How can I book a tour, transfer or travel package online?

To book a tour, you first need to choose whether you’d like to join a group or would prefer a tour just for you/your group („Private“). Some tours only have one option. You then need to select a date, the number of people in your group. Next, you need to fill out your contact info. You can also ask a question or write additional notes. Please make sure you provide a correct and functioning email address and phone number. You’ll then have the choice of three payment methods: credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. Straight after your payment, you will receive the voucher by email.

Is it necessary to sign up at your website?

No, you can book the tour as a quest. Anyway your contact details are necessary.

When the bookings are totally confirmed?

The bookings are confirmed when it is fully paid and met the minimum group size. You will get an email with the confirmation and pick up time no less than 18 hours before the regular tour starts and no less 24 hours before the other tours start.

What I should do if I havn’t received the confirmation email?

If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder. If you havn’t found it there, please contact us at +370 640 19029.

How far in advance should I make a booking?

We recommend booking as soon as you know you can travel, and have decided on which tour you would like to go on. Some of our tours can be quite popular so it’s best to secure your spot as soon as possible.

Do you offer group discounts?

If your group consists of 9 or more people, then please us an email to info@discoverlithuania.biz and we will be happy to assist you with your enquiry and see what we can arrange for you.

Do I need to take my voucher?

Yes you are required to present your voucher at the departure point/tour desk. You can show our voucher on a mobile phone without presenting a printed copy.

How do I make a change in my reservation or cancel the booking

Why the prices of the activities are not counted in total?

To book an activity, we advise you to first contact us in order to check availability and consider other details. For example, horse back riding could be arranged in Vilnius city, Trakai town, or in the ethnographic Horse Museum in Anyksciai area, etc.

What is the cancellation policy of the day tours, transfer services and active tours?

You can cancel these services without any fee up to 24 hours before it runs. If the tours/transfers/activities are cancelled less than 24 hours, you won’t get a refund. Refund could be transferred just into the same bank/paypal acount, where the money came from.

What is the cancellation policy of the travel packages?

– Cancellation more than 1 month in advance: full refund.
– Cancellation between one month and two weeks: 50 % of the total amount.
– Cancellation less than two weeks prior to departure time: no refund.
– Refund could be transferred just into the same bank/paypal acount, where the money came from.

How secure are my personal details?

Your personal details are entirely secure. Your personal information is submitted on a secure server with 128-bit SSL encryption and is used only in order to create your ticket and/or contact you if there is any problem with your booking. Your details will not be passed on to any third-party.

Can you tell me the best way to reach your office at Pylimo str. 50, Vilnius?

Find the Town Hall Square behind Town Hall building, then go up to Rudininku str. until you’ll reach All Saint’s Church – our office is just on your left. The distance between the Town Hall square and our office is 150 m. At the navigation you could put the address of „Rudninku g. 20“).
