Your advendure begins in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, known for its beautiful Baroque Old Town and vibrant cultural life. You will explore the city;s histori streets before visiting the famous island fortress Trakai Castle, one of the most iconic landmarks in the country. The journey continues with a day trip to Kaunas, a city rich in history and modernist architecture. 

Travel north to Riga, Latvia’s lively capital, famous for its Art Nouveau architecture and charming Old Town. During your stay, you will also visit the elegant seaside resort of Jūrmala, known for its sandy beaches and wooden villas. 

The tour then continues with a visit to the medieval Cesis Castle and the fascinating archaeological heritage of Araiši Arhaeological Park, offering insight into ancient Baltic life. On the way to Estonia, you will travle through the stunning lanscapes of Gauja National Park, often called the “Switzerland of Latvia”.

DAY 3Day tour to Kaunas city

DAY 6Day tour to Cesis castle and Airasu archeological park/museum

The emergence of Cēsis can be found in the distant past 800 years ago. Its origins are connected to the Cēsis Medieval castle, around which in the 13th century a town was built. Over the centuries the castle shared its destiny with the city. The castle was once the main castle of the Livonian Order where the landlords made all the important decisions and where the master of Order once lived; it was also a place of imprisonment of high-rank officials and war prisoners.
