Definitions, agreement

Please read these Terms of services carefully before using the http://www.discoverlithuana.biz website (the “Service”) operated by UAB Discover Lithuania company (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
The term “you” refers to the customer (individual, group, agency) visiting our website, booking a reservation through us or otherwise using our services. The term „Services“ refers to the day tours, multi – day tours, transportation, activities and other services published on our website.

The website (www.discoverlithuania.biz) is provided by UAB „Discover Lithuania“, Pylimo str. 50, Vilnius, Lithuania, LT-01307. You can contact us by email (info@discoverlithuania.biz) or by phone using this number: +370 64019029.

These terms of services, together with our privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”), apply to any use of the Website. Visitors of the Website (“User” or “you”) may use the Website only on condition that they accept the Terms of Services and read and understand the Privacy Policy. Any further use of the Website or any part of it means you have read and understood the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by all parts of the Terms of Service.

The parties agree that the Contract shall apply to all tours/Orders placed for the supply of all Services by the Company to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, including that of the Client, whether or not notified to the Company.

A tour, travel package, transfer or other service will last approximately for the advertised length of time, as covered by a proposal or web listing. The Company may adjust tour itineraries depending on factors such as the pace and actions of the group, any special interests or requirements of the group, events taking place nearby and travel conditions locally. The Client takes all liability, including their own safety and personal belongings.

Each tour listing has a ‘what to expect’ section. Please note that the tours are not guaranteed to cover every single point on that list.
If the customer makes requests that are additional to what was already agreed, this may be able to be accommodated but there may be a price increase to cover the extra level of work or cost.

Should any visit listed in a proposal not be available once the Service is booked, the Company will offer the alternatives.

The information and website contents the Company provides contains material which is owned by or licenses to the Company. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Any reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms of business.

Any unauthorised use of the Company’s website or its documentation may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

The Company carries public liability insurance but all customers MUST be insured to cover personal accident, cancellation, curtailment and any other eventuality.

Bookings: payment, cancellations, changes

Bookings are placed online: on our website or by email info@discoverlithuania.biz

The Services is confirmed than the full payment is done, minimum group size is met (for the group tours) and the weather conditions are good (for the activities).
The Company may, at its entire discretion, accept or reject (for whatever reason) an order or amendment of Contract and shall notify the customer of the same.

The cancellation policy of the bookings of the day tours, active services and transfers: the customer can cancel these services without any fee up to 24 hours before it runs. If the tours/transfers/activities are cancelled less than 24 hours, the customer won’t get a refund. Refund could be transferred just into the same bank/paypal acount, where the money came from.

The cancellation policy of the bookings of the travel package:
– Cancellation more than 1 month in advance: full refund
– Cancellation between one month and two weeks: 50 % of the total amount
– Cancellation less than two weeks prior to departure time: no refund.
– Refund could be transferred just into the same bank/paypal acount, where the money came from.

If the customer would like to change the booking, he should contact the Company by email or phone. According to availability and other conditions, the supplier will suggest an alternative choice.

Invoicing and payment

Payment can be made by any of the following methods: By PayPal, Credit cards, bank transfer or cash.

All Prices are inclusive of VAT.

The Company reserves the right to vary the price at its sole and entire discretion.
The Client should be aware of any transfer fees and exchange rates before completing the transaction. It is the Clients responsibility to ensure that the amount transferred covers the total amount. Any underpayment due to transfer fees or the exchange rate is the responsibility of the Client.

Our general practice is to send documents to our customers electronically whenever possible. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee should you make a request for such documents to be sent as a hard copy.
