We took two tailor made day tours. One to Druskninkai area inclusing Antanas Cesnulis wood park, which was amazing, and also Sakotis museum by Romnesa restaurant. Our guide was Andrius. He was knoladgable, caring and did everything to make the most of the tour. The other tour was to Anyksciai area guided by Inga. among other things we went to Stanislovas Petraska stone museum, and several observation including a treetop one. It was a great day. Inga has great personality, very kind and enthusiastic. she made a perfect day for us. We are certain that it is the perfect profession for her. Thank you so much
We arranged two days tour package with Discover Lithuania agent and both were successful and enjoyable. Our Guide Mr. Andres was very professional and knowledgeable and provided us with lots of information about the visited sites and he makes sure that we are satisfied and happy along the trip. The car was very comfortable for our long journey drive and Andres was excellent and wise in driving through the rush hours. The first tour was to Anykscia Town where we saw Horse Museum, and enjoyed baking the rye bread upon our especial request in one of the famous villages and after delicious lunch break we went to the treetop walking path and had a wonderful time over there. The second day, we went to Trakai Town and castle and tried the traditional Lithuanian pastries in two restaurants.
We strongly recommend contacting Discover Lithuania agent to organize your tours and rest assured that you will be happily satisfied
We had a great day out of the city, in fact it was the best day we had in Lithuania. We especially enjoyed the ice cream treat after our hike in the trees!
We had a great day out and saw lots of attractions and museums we would never have been able to get to on our own. The Narrow Gauge Railway and forest walkway were particular highlights. We felt really well looked after and had a knowledgable guide who made it a great experience.
